Aurel Dahlgrün (*1989) is a conceptual artist who deeply explores water as a medium of imagery, using different media to unveil new perspectives on our environment. Raised in Småland, Sweden, he developed a close connection to nature from an early age. Since studying at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the class of Christopher Williams (2012–2018), he has focused on the possibilities of photography and the representation of the natural world. Through his expeditions and artistic projects, he frequently ventures to remote corners of the Earth, discovering new dimensions both above and beneath the surface.
